DJ SK is one of the most respected and experienced Hip-Hop & Top 40 DJ’s in North Carolina. SK has a proven track record for providing quality DJ services.  He specializes in Hip-Hop, Reggae, Top 40, Electro, B-More, and whatever it takes to make the crowd move.  DJ SK is the current Official Red Bull Music Academy DJ for the eastern North Carolina region, and is a charter member of The Jukebox Heroes & Kaos Mathematics DJ Crews. He has performed in clubs throughout North Carolina. Name a large club in NC, and you can bet he’s played it. He isn’t limited to only NC though, as he has made appearances in New York, California, Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the Chicagoland area of Illinois.

DJ SK has celebrity credentials and has spun at events for the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Common, KRS-One, Talib Kweli, DJ Kool Herc, Africa Bambatta, and Redman, among many other elite performers. SK has experience on commercial radio with 94.5 The Beat and college radio with 90.5 WSSU & 90.9 WQFS. He is also known for his deep roots in the Southeastern United States B-Boy scene through his Money, Power, Moves, Respect event series.

DJ SK has always been intrigued by the art form of DJ’ing.  His parents owned a disco, and his brothers introduced him to the tables at a young age.  He is influenced by J-Rocc, Rhetmattic & Babu of the Beat Junkies, DJ Faust, & all the homies he has rocked with over the years. You can currently catch DJ SK in rotation at North Carolina nightspots such as the Itz Niteclub and The Speakeasy, both in Fayetteville, 6th & Vine in Winston-Salem, & The Ugly Monkey in Raleigh.  All booking requests can be made via our booking form.
