Amerie – Swag Back (Forge 8 Bar Edit)
Jan 11th
I’ve always thought that Amerie has pretty much the best production in R&B (sue me, I like my drums big even when it comes to R&B). This is the next single from her latest album In Love & War. I figured if DJs are supposed to play this then it needed an edit to make it a little more mixable. Make sure you pick up the album (shouts to M-Phazes with two tracks on the album also)

Gucci Mane – Lemonade Heroes (StepBrothers Transition)
Dec 30th
A message from The StepBrothers (DJ Paradime and DJ Forge):
We’re gonna be honest. We think most transition tracks suck. By the time the usual transition track actually gets to the song, it’s gone on for countless bars which kills the mood and lightens up the dancefloor. You know how when you’re trying to work on some DJ stuff and your significant other is talking about new curtains or something like that and she keeps going on and on and on you wish she’d just get to the point? That’s how we feel about transition tracks. So this one does just that, it gets to the point. There’s a 16 bar intro with minimal drums so you can mix in, and then 16 bars total of Gucci Mane vocal chops from the song mixed with b-more drums and then straight into the original version of Lemonade. Enjoy.

DJ Paradime – So Icey Cream Blend
Oct 20th
“Are the rims big? Do it ride good?” — words to live by if you plan on ridin clean in the south. Dorrough dropped a new south classic this summer with “Ice Cream Paint Job” and DJ Paradime took the opportunity to craft a dope remix/blend with another south classic, Gucci Mane’s “So Icey”. The result is So Icey Cream, a creation that’s sure to keep the clubs bumpin even after the hype for this song begins to fade. Take a listen below and then hit the direct download link to add it to your collection.

Jay-Z ft. Rihanna and Kanye West – Run This Town (Intro Edits)
Sep 4th

A little behind on making this edit, but better late than never I suppose! There are two versions of the edit, one is a short version which has only Jay’s first verse and then Kanye’s verse. They both have 8 bar instrumental intros, and I placed drums under Rihanna’s leading vocals as well. Both are the CLEAN version of the song so all the radio mixshow DJs can use them as well. Drake – Best I Ever Had (Intro Edit)…
Apr 30th
Drake is blowing up as we speak, and this is probably the most popular song from his mixtape, So Far Gone, so I made a quick intro edit for it (big up to mensa for the instrumentals).
