20.Outro
I’ve been a fan of this dude pretty much since I heard Cassie’s single “Me and U”. The production sounded so much different than the rest of the r&b out at the time. He’s been steady releasing music of his own, and continuously producing for other singers and rappers along the way. I’m a huge fan of his production style, and especially his “behind the scenes” videos to go along with them from his site. He recently debuted a self-titled album which didn’t leave my cd deck for at least a week after I bought it.
I’ve been meaning to throw this tape together for a while now, but just finally got around to it. I think it serves as a good introduction to the vibe that Ryan Leslie represents with not only his own music, but the music he makes for others. His catalog goes much deeper than this, and he has a growing discography of rap tracks, but I wanted to save those for a second tape.
I am making physical copies within the week so if you want one shoot me an email from the contact page and we’ll work it out. Please lemme know what you think in the comments!
