This is the third installment of our Mix Master Arts DJ Battle series, being held at Scandals Nightclub in Asheville, NC. The winner and runner up will be invited to compete in the Grand Championship at the end of the year at Greene Street Club in Greensboro. There will be one more battle after the Asheville event taking place during Signal Fest in Chapel Hill in September. In all there will be there will be 4 more competitors joining the ranks of our past champions and runners-up to determine our Grand Champion. SPCLGST (Greensboro Champ), A-Minor (Greensboro Runner up), Lord Walrus (Charlotte Champ), DJ Complete (Charlotte Runner up). Who will be next?

This upcoming weekend come party at one of Raleigh’s most premier and upscale venues with music provided by DJ Forge on Thursday July 22nd, and DJ Paradime on Sunday July 25th.  Mirage is one of the latest additions to the Raleigh nightlife scene and has quickly earned a reputation for throwing “must attend” parties. In addition to the hottest music on the charts we’ll be spinning music videos which will displayed in VIP as well as on the main floor on a huge screen. Entertainment group Inner Circle has selected DJ Paradime for their summer Fever party which will be held at the charlotte bobcats arena.  These guys only do premium events and this one is no exception, so make sure to get your tickets early so you’re not left out!

DJ Paradime is gearing up to spin at one of the summer’s most exclusive events this Saturday June 26th in Charlotte. Ticket and party information below:

MAZ Entertainment is eager to welcome you to the next phase of their evolution through the embodiment of a mammoth structure they have affectionately named the “MAZ Mansion”. Located in one of Charlotte’s most exclusive communities, this 3.5 million dollar structure will host MAZ Entertainment’s premiere affair of the summer. Amenities Include:

This event is also an event with a cause. MAZ Entertainment will be donating a portion of the $10,000 donation fund to The National Center for Global Engagement. The National Center for Global Engagement is a nonprofit social venture established to create international study, service, and work opportunities for promising American students of color. Their goal is to level the playing field and prepare our nation’s most promising future leaders of all ethnicities and social backgrounds. The organizers of MAZ Entertainment were born and raised right in Charlotte NC, so matters of the community lie close to their hearts. Due to the fact that this is a privately owned residence, MAZ Entertainment is not permitted to reveal the exact location of the mansion. But MAZ Entertainment will be providing shuttles for their guests at 13000 South Tryon Street (Harris Teeter parking lot). Parking at this location will be FREE for MAZ Entertainment guest.

A mandatory dress code of “Upscale” is in effect for this event. No athletic wear, t-shirts of any kind, baseball caps, or excessively baggy clothing will be permitted. Neatly presented jeans and some designer tennis shoe brands will be allowed. I suggest if you have wardrobe questions, that you send those inquiries to info@mazentertainment.net.

Due to the overwhelmingly positive response to the first Mix Master Arts DJ Battle we have decided to turn it into an event series with four more events added to the roster. The first of battle will take place Sunday April 4th at The Breakfast Club in Charlotte, NC. In addition to the Charlotte battle, two more events will be held in 2010 (one in the triangle area and one in Asheville) and a “Grand Championship” that will feature the first and second place winners from each area competing for the title of “Grand Champion” at the end of the year back at Greene St in Greensboro.
